Note on the three-player playoff: Slaviša Milanović, Petar Benković and Marko Živanić shared first place, so under the tournament regulations a double round-robin playoff was subsequently held for the youth championship title. The three-player playoff took place one month later in Mataruška Banja during the First Women’s League of FR Yugoslavia. Petar drew all four of his games; the only decisive game was Milanović’s win over Živanić. Final standings: Milanović 2.5, Benković 2, Živanić 1.5 points.
